Millburn Township Districts 5, 12 & 16 Change in Polling Locations

Registered Voters in Districts 5 & 16 who previously voted at Deerfield School will now vote in the Community Congregation Church located at 200 Hartshorn Drivein future elections. Registered Voters in District 12 who previously voted at Deerfield School will now vote in the Millburn Township Library located at 200 Glen Avenuein future elections.

If you previously voted at Deerfield School please be advised that a notice will be sent out by the Essex County Board of Elections notifying you of your new voting location. Your voting location is also listed on the sample ballot which is mailed to each registered voter prior to each election. 

Anyone can now Vote By Mail! In order to obtain a Vote By Mail Ballot Request Form please visit the Essex County Board of Elections website at http://essexboardofelections.com/forms-and-applications/ Forms are also available at Millburn Township Town Hall.

Please refer to your sample ballot to view your current polling location. To confirm your voting location online you may visit www.njelections.org.


Seniors can ride the Senior Bus to polling locations upon request.

Residents 62 and over may call one day in advance for transportation within township boundaries to medical appointments, grocery shopping, meetings and activities. Passengers must be able to board and leave the bus without assistance. The bus has lift capability and an aide is permitted to ride with a disabled individual to assist with entering and exiting the vehicle. To avoid delays, passengers are not permitted to change or add to their itinerary once on the bus.

If you need the bus service, please call 973-564-7076 between 7:00 am - 8:15 am at least one day before you need the bus. No same day calls will be accepted. Please note: there is no provision for leaving a message at this number.

The senior bus provides free service five days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm and Thursday, 8:30 am - 12:00 pm. The bus is serviced each Thursday afternoon.

Please be ready when the bus comes to pick you up. It is not fair to keep the other passengers waiting.

If you are waiting for the senior citizen bus and it is significantly delayed, please call the customer service number at Town Hall, 973 564-7097. Customer Service will know if the bus has had a breakdown or if another serious problem has occurred.
