Records Bureau


The Records Bureau maintains a record of all incident and motor vehicle accident reports for the police department. In addition, the Records Bureau assists the township prosecutor in preparing discovery for court each week. Records also handles requests for fingerprints, good conduct letters, temporary handicap placards, OPRA requests and processes alarm registrations.

FINGERPRINTS: Residents of Millburn/Short Hills can get non-criminal fingerprints on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 1pm to 3pm. The fee is $10.00 per card and a photo id is required.

FEES: Incident & Accident Reports (IN PERSON): $0.05 per page

           MAILED Incident and/or accident reports: $5.00

           Disks (photos, video, audio): $5.00
