Please be advised that Millburn DPW will NOT be picking up construction materials from repairs due to Tropical Storm Ida.
The Township previously responded for pick up of flood-damaged debris, possessions and other items that required removal from affected homes and businesses. Residents who have any additional flood debris may utilize the Public Works Yard for disposal. For more information, see our DPW pamphlet (PDF).
We are unable to pick up construction debris and this should be done by the licensed contractor working on your home or business, or by having a small dumpster for debris collection located in the street or driveway during the construction period.
Permits are required for residents who wish to place a dumpster in the street during construction. For more information on how to get one of these permits, please call our Traffic Bureau at (973) 564-7757. If you require on-street parking due to construction and/or the placement of a dumpster in your driveway, please call our non-emergency Police Department line at (973) 564-7001.
Reminder! Any work related to storm damages that requires a permit will have permit fees waived. Residents must still apply for these permits before performing work.
