Flood Mitigation Advisory Committee


The Flood Mitigation Advisory Committee will mobilize community involvement in flood control matters and funding concerns, address funding issues with the Governing Body, provide pertinent information to residents, and serve in an advisory capacity to the Township Committee on flood control matters. 

Mission Statement

To engage key stakeholders and residents to discuss and review potential flood mitigation projects and education programs for the community; and work toward potential solutions on flood mitigation and flood awareness. 


The Flood Mitigation Advisory Committee will meet, at a minimum, on a quarterly basis. 


The Committee shall consist of up to 12 residents or property owners from flood prone or impacted areas of Millburn Township. The Township is accepting applications for the committee through Thursday, September 30. If you are interested, please send an e-mail to letusknow@millburntwp.org with the subject line "Flood Mitigation AC," provide your name, address and 3-4 sentence about why you would like to serve and any other skill set or experience you have to offer the group.
