Various construction projects will be occurring throughout the Township over the next few months. The areas stated below are a preliminary list as start dates are still being determined and are subject to change.

In efforts to notify residents and commuters of the possibility of road closures, detours and increased traffic the Township will be updating its website and Twitter as construction progresses. Please keep these projects in mind while driving through town:

August
•Complete Streets- Check the Township website for updates.

•Papermill Playhouse – Parking lot improvements and resurfacing.
Brookside Drive will be closed daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM from August 3rd to August 19th. The road closure will be between Old Short Hills Road and Glen Avenue. Bids are being received July 6th with the possibility of awarding the bid on July 19th. The project area is from Millburn Avenue to Ridgewood Road. Residents affected by construction will be notified by the contractor. Construction should conclude in September.

•Great Hills Road – Projected construction on Great Hills Road will be postponed due to the Governor’s order to stop all projects being funded by the Transportation Trust Fund. The Township will be monitoring the status of the stop work order so that work can begin as soon as possible.
