[ARCHIVED] Construction Notice for Whittingham Terrace

On or about Tuesday, September 6, 2016, the Township will begin construction of the Whittingham Terrace Improvements Project, which will include replacement of drainage, curbs and then finally the milling and paving. This work will take approximately 1 month, weather permitting.

Portions of Whittingham Terrace will be completely restricted at times during the work due to the presence of construction activities, equipment and materials. For your safety and that of the construction crew the Township asks that you avoid unnecessary travel in that portion of Whittingham Terr.

When new sidewalks and driveway aprons are constructed those residents affected will not be allowed to use their driveways for 3-4 days to allow proper curing of the concrete, but will be allowed to park overnight on nearby side streets. The Millburn Police have been notified and have granted permission for the necessary overnight parking. The contractor will inform residents on a daily basis when the driveway will be inaccessible.

Your cooperation in this endeavor is acknowledged and appreciated. If you have any questions please call the Township Engineering Department at (973) 564-7050.
