There has been an increase in motor vehicle thefts and thefts from motor vehicles in the Millburn/Short Hills area. Please be sure to lock all vehicles and do not leave the car keys/fobs inside of motor vehicles. Those responsible for stealing items inside and the vehicle itself know when they are unlocked. Most of today’s vehicles side mirrors retract when it is locked, making these unlocked vehicles easy to notice.
