Here is the updated schedule for construction on Great Hills Road:
5/18/17 - Milling 7:00am-5:00pm
5/19/17 - Milling 7:00am-5:00pm
5/20/17 - Paving 7:00am-5:00pm
5/22/17 - Striping 8:00am-4:00pm

Update: May 2nd
Due to impending weather conditions, the milling and paving of Great Hills Road is postponed until further notice. An updated construction schedule will be posted as it becomes available.
On or about May 3, 2017 the Township will begin the final phase of the Great Hills Road Improvement Project that began last summer. Great Hills Road will be milled and repaved between Tall Pine Lane and White Oak Ridge Road. ADA curb ramps have already been installed. Milling the road will take approximately 2 days, and is scheduled for Thursday May 4 and Friday May 5. During the milling operation local traffic will be permitted to drive on the road surface and Police Officers will be onsite for the safety of residents as well as the workers. The paving operation will be done on Saturday May 6, and traffic will be restricted with no travel permitted at that time.
We ask residents to park on the closest side street so that you will have access to your vehicle. If you wish to park your car overnight on a side street, please ensure that the vehicle is locked and that you have notified the Police Department and provided your license plate number to them. During paving, please observe and obey the road closure and detour signage, and the Police Officers.
We are aware of the temporary inconvenience that the Saturday paving operation may create and apologize in advance. We wanted to condense the paving operation to as short of a schedule as possible. Paving on a day that schools are open would turn this into a two day paving project because we would be required to work around the school busing schedule.
