The Parking Lots at Gero Park are scheduled for milling and paving starting Thursday, Oct. 15. Sections or all of the parking lots may be closed during the duration of this project. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
The schedule (weather permitting) is as follows:
Thursday, Oct. 15 – Milling of the main parking lot and of the upper golf course lot. You may still park in either lot, but please do not park anywhere near the perimeters of either lot (do not park near a fence, building, curb, etc.). Park in the center island areas only. Use caution, especially with children, as multiple trucks and machinery will be in the lots.
Friday, Oct. 16 – Paving of the upper golf course lot and access road along side of pool fence. No parking allowed in the upper golf course lot, only may park in main lot between Firehouse and Recreation Building.
Monday, Oct. 19 – Paving in the main parking lot along White Oak between the Recreation Building and Firehouse. No parking anywhere in the Gero Park lots. Park visitors who wish to use the park fields, tennis courts, playground or golf course may park in legal parking spaces on nearby streets.
