[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: July 7 Primary Election Vote-By Mail

As per Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 144, every registered Republican and Democratic voter will automatically be mailed a vote-by-mail ballot for the July 7 Primary Election. Unaffiliated/Undeclared voters will receive an application to request a vote-by-mail ballot.

 The July 7 Primary Election will be a primarily vote-by mail election, with a limited number of consolidated polling places. Polling places will only be providing provisional ballots and an allowance for ADA voters to vote by audio on a voting machine. Essex County now offers a fully accessible absentee ballot for voters with disabilities. Please call 973-387-7314 to request your accessible absentee ballot or to visit the Essex County Clerk’s Office site for more information, please click HERE. Provisional paper ballots and visually impaired audio voting will be available at the following locations on July 7 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.:

  • Community Congregational Church, 200 Hartshorn Drive
  • Millburn Education Center, 434 Millburn Avenue
