The clerks office has Mail-In Voter Registration forms available, which must be received in the Essex County Commissioner of Registrations Office 21 days prior to an election. To view the application, please visit https://www.essexclerk.com/services/5
Anyone can Vote By Mail! The Clerk's Office has applications for a Vote By Mail Ballot, which may be picked-up or mailed to you, or you may go to the Essex County Board of Elections website https://www.essexclerk.com/services/6 You must be a registered voter in order to apply. A voter may apply for a Mail-In Ballot by mail up to 7 days prior to the election. They may also apply in person to the Essex County Clerk until 3 p.m. the day before the election. Note also that voters have an option of indicating on an application for a Mail-In Ballot that they would prefer to receive a ballot for each election that takes place during the remainder of the calendar year. Voters now have the option to automatically receive a Mail-In Ballot for each General Election. If such voter no longer wants this option, the Essex County Clerk's office must be notified in writing.

You can download the Organization Raffle Form (PDF), visit the Clerk’s office and pick them up, or go to Legalized Games of Chance website and print them out. Remember you must submit 4 copies with original signatures, the Legalized Games of Chance ID Form and appropriate fees.
